Liza Soberano used the platform to share her reaction to the world premiere of "Forgotten Island" at the George Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, calling it "surreal" and saying she was "proud and excited" the film was "finally out in the world" 8. Bela Padilla announced the end of her eight-month relationship with tech CEO Martin Tan in an Instagram post, thanking him and writing that love sometimes means knowing when to let go 33. Both items were reported by mainstream outlets off the strength of the posts themselves.
• YouTube. Aiko Melendez and Onemig Bondoc discussed their past relationship on Melendez's YouTube vlog, including the detail that she had turned him down years earlier; the exchange was then covered by Bandera 15. Wage orders take effect in two regions

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said a ₱42 daily wage increase for minimum wage earners in Central Visayas takes effect October 14, covering about 385,000 workers in Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental and Siquijor 42. Under the new rates, the daily minimum wage rises to ₱582 in Class A areas and ₱542 in Class B areas 42.
